Hartselle hung with Troy for the first three innings. Troy broke the 2-2 tie game in the top of the fourth with four runs and later added six in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Luke Nail took the loss on the mound.

The loss ended Hartselle’s run in the tournament. They went 1-2 overall, falling 6-3 to Opelika in the opening round and defeating Muscle Shoals 8-6 in the loser’s bracket.
