Funeral for Rudolph Morgan, 86, of Eva was Sun., July 28, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church of Eva, with the Revs. Fred Nichols and Ray Bennett officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Bethel Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan died Thur., July 25, 2013, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 1, 1927, in Cullman County to Jim Morgan and Della Stover Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a member of Falkville Church of God. He was married to his wife, Mazine Holbcomb Morgan, for 65 years and was a self- employed mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Frankie Morgan; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Wilmer Mazine Holcomb Morgan of Eva; two sons, Jessie Morgan of Cullman and William Morgan of Eva; four daughters, Reba Stallings and Nancy Welch, both of Eva; Della Mahan of Lacey’s Spring and Rebecca Oden of Cullman; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bruce Welch, Jim Mahan, Scott Oden, John Cole, Tommy Stallings and Dale Spratlin.
