A Hartselle woman was killed and three members of her family injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 31, three miles north of Cullman, Tuesday afternoon at 4:10 p.m.

The victim was identified as Vera Hollingsworth, 60, a resident of Barkley Bridge Road. She was wearing a seat belt.

Injured in the accident were Cindy Hagemann of Hartselle, the driver of the car in which Mrs. Hollingsworth was a passenger, her daughter, Effe Hagemann, 11, and son, Stinnett Hagemann, seven.

Mrs. Hagemann and her children were transported to Huntsville Hospital.

Also involved in the accident was a vehicle driven by Joshua Veres, 25, of Vinemont. He was also inured.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the accident.
