The American Legion Post 52 Auxiliary hosted a birthday party for residents of the Tutt Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville recently with seven senior members and one junior member participating. The home was observing its 18th anniversary and 11 veterans were recognized as birthday honorees. The veterans enjoyed music, a birthday cake and ice cream.

A district 12 meeting was held on August 4th in Athens. Unit 52 was represented by Beverly Train who was elected secretary-treasurer.

Unit 52 hosted a trip to Birmingham recently for junior members.
