City Council cancels work session Monday

The Hartselle City Council has canceled its work session for Monday due to a lack of a quorum.
The council’s regular meeting on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. is still scheduled. Here are the items that are on the agenda for next week’s meeting:
- Consider approval of the FYE 2014 Fire Hydrant Maintenance Contract Agreement with Hartselle Utilities
- Budget Adjustment – Fire Department
- Consider Enterprise Messaging Plan with Verizon
- Appointment to the Industrial Development Board
