HJHS teams win jamborees

The Hartselle Junior High School football teams won their preseason games with Florence last week.
The seventh grade team won 18-8. Luke Godsey scored on a 35-yard interception return. Colin Springer tossed an 18-yard touchdown to Braxton Peck, who also scored a rushing touchdown
The eighth grade team won 36-8. Highlights from the game include two long touchdown runs by Taylor Easterling, a Riley Wood interception return for a touchdown and a Wood short touchdown run.
