LifeSouth Community Blood Centers will host a Patriot Day Blood Drive at the Morgan County Courthouse on Wed., Sept. 11, to commemorate the terrorist attack against the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001.

In exchange for blood donations, LifeSouth will give all donors a backpack, T-shirt and coupons for Papa Murphy’s Pizza and a Whitt’s barbecue sandwich.

The blood drive will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be located in the parking lot on the Lee St. side of the courthouse. Donors may sign up to donate at the Community Relations Office in the first floor or go to the Bloodmobile at a time that is convenient.
