Jim Grissom

Funeral for Jim Grissom, 73, of Falkville was Tues., Sept. 10, at 4 p.m. at Roundtop Community Church with the Rev. Pearl Jenkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.

Mr. Grissom died Sat., Sept. 7, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 12, 1939, in Cullman County to Oscar Whitley Grissom and Eliska Louise Richter Grissom. He was the owner of Grissom Real Estate Agency. Mr. Grissom was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Tucker Grissom of Falkville; two sons, James Ronald Grissom and wife Liz of Baltimore, MD and David Brian Grissom and wife Linda of Hartselle; a daughter, Amy Grissom Luker and husband William of Falkville; two brothers, George Grissom of Hamilton and David Grissom of Vinemont; a sister, Janette Putman of Cullman; and four grandchildren, Josie Luker, Dillan Luker Patrick Grissom and Ben Grissom.

Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge #396 of Falkville.
