Legislative Internship Program returns
The Alabama Law Institute is accepting applications for the Alabama Legislative Internship Program, which runs concurrently with the regular session of the 2014 Alabama Legislative Session.
Interns work Monday through Thursday from Jan. 7-April 28, 2014.
Academic credit is often available for students who participate.
The deadline for applications is Oct. 1.
The internships allow college students the opportunity to observe and be involved in the legislative process of state government.
To qualify, a student must be at least a junior or higher in college and must be either an Alabama resident or be attending college in Alabama.
Applications can be obtained from the Law Institute website, www.ali.state.al.us.
