The Hartselle Lady Tigers (17-10) began the Eddie Preuitt Ford Tournament 2-0 in their home gym Friday night.

In a win over Lee, Taylor Lybarger led the way with eight kills, five digs and an ace while Melissa-Paul Hill had 14 assists, three digs and kill. Haley Jared, Megan Zuck and Bailey Powell all had three kills apiece while Katy Beth Bole had two.

Sarah Ellen Battles added four digs followed by Jared with three digs and Powell and Jordan Barbrey with two digs each. Jared also had an ace.

In Hartselle’s 25-5, 25-4 win over Mortimer Jordan, Bole and Jared scored five kills each to lead the way while Lybarger and Powell added two kills each. Hill had eight assists while Barbrey had seven assists. Hill and Battles had two aces each.

Battles added seven digs followed by Barbrey with five digs and Powell, Catherine Bodley and Hannah Warren with two digs each. Bole and Hill recorded a block each while Lybarger added two kills, an ace and a dig.
