Class 3A No. 4 Danville and Class 5A No. 2 Hartselle showed just why the two teams they are both state championship contenders in their classifications.

The back-and-forth match ended with the two teams separated by just two points through three sets. The Lady Hawks edged Hartselle 25-23, 23-25, 15-13.
