HJHS runner-up in county tournament

Hartselle Junior High School’s eighth grade volleyball team finished second in the Morgan County Junior High School Tournament at Hartselle High School on Saturday.
The second-seeded Lady Tigers finished the day with with a 3-1 record on the day. The defeated Cotaco 25-16, 25-9 followed by a 25-11, 25-20 win over Union Hill. In the semifinals, Hartselle rallied to beat West Morgan 23-25, 25-22, 15-9.
The Lady Tigers fell to Danville 25-12, 25-10 in the finals.
