Overcoming foolish decisions

It is sad how we sometimes get ourselves into hot water because of the choices that we make.

As we think back over our decisions, we realize that most bad choices come with painful consequences. Like David in Psalm 38, we must recognize how foolish we were and seek God’s wisdom.

Proverbs 9:10 tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. When we seek God’s wisdom to overcome the foolish decisions that always cause us so much trouble, He will guide us down the path that we need to go.
