Danville wins Morgan County JV Tourney

Danville High School won the the Morgan County Junior Varsity Volleyball Tournament at home Tuesday.

The Lady Hawks (36-8) defeated Hartselle High School in the championship match 25-20, 25-23.

Priceville defeated West Morgan 26-24, 13-25, 15-7
Hartselle defeated West Morgan 25-18, 25-13
Danville defeated Priceville 18-25, 25-10, 15-6
Hartselle defeated Priceville 25-22, 25-23
Danville defeated West Morgan 25-12, 25-15

Pool A winner: Danville
Pool A runner-up: Hartselle

Brewer defeated Austin 26-24, 25-20
Decatur defeated Falkville 25-8, 22-25, 15-9
Brewer defeated Falkville 25-11, 25-10
Austin defeated Decatur 25-11, 25-20
Austin defeated Falkville 25-12, 25-21
Brewer defeated Decatur 25-13, 25-9

Pool B winner: Brewer
Pool B runner-up: Austin

Semifinals:
Danville defeated Austin 25-20, 25-11
Hartselle defeated Brewer 25-16, 25-13

Finals:
Danville defeated Hartselle 25-20, 25-23. Shelby Ziegler led the team and played well blocking and hitting in the finals.
