Brewer used a 17-1 run in the second quarter to break open a tight game against the home-standing Hartselle Lady Tigers Monday night.

Riley Northway did most of the damage for the Lady Patriots (4-0), scoring 32 points on seven of 10 shooting from the field and 17 of 18 from the foul line. She also had 10 rebounds.

Savana Flack and Malerie Drinkard both scored eight points while Tamena Chatam had seven points and Presley Craft had three points. Drinkard also added six rebounds

Cheyenne McLemore also had five assists and three steals.

Hartselle was led by Madison Williams with 12 points followed by Melissa-Paul Hill with nine, Riley Terry with six, Allie Roden with five and Shaneal Johnson with 3.
