Clara Kathleen Dalton

Funeral for Clara Kathleen Dalton, 90, of Falkville will be Wed., Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dalton died Sun., Nov. 24, 2013, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Levy County, Fla. to General Lee Hunter and Angie Gertrude Mitchell Hunter. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at Parker Hannifin as a factory worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Eugene Dalton.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Pounders and husband Tony and Sharon Sircy, both of Hartselle; a brother, Bill Hunter of Powell, Tenn.; a sister, Jeanette Whitt of Huntsville; four grandchildren, Tommy Sircy, Chad and Naomi Sircy and Melissa Pounders; two great-grandchildren. Corey Sircy and Andi Sircy; two great-great grandchildren, Kylee and Jayden.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Sircy, Kenneth Hunter, Charles Hunter, Greg Whitt, Corey Sircy and Homer Pounders.
