Fifteen Hartselle Police officers grew beards during the month of November to raise more than $2,000 to help Crisis Services of North Alabama.

Officer Michael Holladay brought the No Shave November campaign to Hartselle and Chief Ron Puckett agreed to do it as long as the officers raised $50 by Nov. 1 and another $50 by the end of the November.

The 15 officers did that and more.

“We raised $2,065.50,” Hollday said. “We’d like to thank everyone for helping us with this project.”
