Danville varsity boys got their second area win of the season over Vinemont Tuesday night 50-43.

Danville trailed 15-6 at the end of the first quarter and 26-21 at halftime. Danville then outscored Vinemont 13-4 in the third quarter to take a 34-30 lead.

Andres Cordova helped get the Hawks on the board shooting five 3-pointers during the entire game leading the Hawks offense for the night with 20 followed by Patrick Doherty with 11, Kyle Alexander with seven and Alan Cordova with six.

Leading Vinemont was Garret Sipe with 11.

Danville travels to Hanceville Friday for the third area game of year.
