Hartselle Fine Arts Center received a $25,000 grant from the Alabama Mountains, Rivers and Valleys RC&D Council on Tuesday to help pay for the installation of handicap accessible restrooms. State Senator Arthur Orr, R-Decatur, assisted in the grant’s procurement. He and Bill Latimer, District 3 commissioner for Limestone County and Mike Roden, executive director of AMRV/RC&D delivered the grant to the Fine Arts Board of Directors at the Fine Arts Center. Also pictured are Fine Arts Center Board Chairman Randy Garrison and members of the board along with city officials.
