Funeral for Jerry Bennich, 79, of Hartselle will be Sat., Dec. 7, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sat., Dec. 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bennich died Thur., Dec. 5, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Morgan County to Edward W. Bennich and Clara Harvel Bennich. He was formerly employed by NASA as a Mechanical Designer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Harris Bennich and his parents.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Bennich of Hartselle; a brother, Ed Bennich and wife Ruby of Huntsville; a sister, Dorothy Pack and husband James of Michigan; sister-in-law, Wilda Harris Johnson of Hartselle; six nieces; and five nephews.
