Thanksgiving shared with family and friends

Members of First Baptist Church Falkville extend birthday wishes to Abby Gail Ferrell. Her special day was December 1. Birthday wishes also to Geraldine Rowe on December 2 and James Teague on December 6.

Members of First Baptist Church Falkville hosted a pounding for their new youth minister, Patrick Smith and wife Jillian. The event was held in the church’s fellowship hall prior to the Thanksgiving meal Wednesday night, Nov. 20.

The family of Vivian Summerford met at the Priceville home of Bill and Shannon Hopkins for Thanksgiving dinner.

Mama Road House Grill was the setting for a Thanksgiving luncheon Fri., Nov. 22. Among those attending were members of the Falkville Senior Center, Faye Anders, Floyd and Grace Bradford, Clezell Asher-branner, Martha Asherbra-nner, Bobby and Linda Ball, Carol Cole, Shirley Sauter and Patsy Clemmons. Also enjoying the good food and fellowship were Martha Garrison, Terry and Jenny Kelsey, Jake and Patty Pike, Vivian Summerford, Gayle Wallace, Charles and Linda Williams, the manager of the center, Barbara Asherbranner and Jackie Turney, bus driver.

Delane and Darlene McCormick hosted a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at their home last Wednesday night. Their guests were their three daughters, Danielle Teague and her children, Dena Thomason and her children and Darcie Dean and her children.

Holiday visitors of Herman and Adell Gibson were Wayne and Gail Howarrd and their daughter, Melina Stafford, and her two children, Maddie Kate and Gib Stafford of Hartselle, Tracey and Terry Randolph and their children, Jonathn, Grego-ry and Haley of Eva and Lavon Gibson.

Brian and Carol Murphy and their daughter, Autumn, of Tuscaloosa spent the holiday with his parents, O’Neal and Margaret Murphy.

Eating Thanksgiving lunch with Lynn and Susie Dean and their daughter Summer were her parents, O’Neal and Margaret Murphy, Jimmy and Paulette Dean and Bre-anna Dean. Breanna of Lake Wales, Fla., spent the holiday here with relatives.
