Aththa Morrow

Funeral for Aththa Morrow, 80, of Hartselle will be Fri., Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 13, from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Morrow died on Wed., Dec. 11, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born July 13, 1933, in Morgan County to Beecher Tapscott and Alma Kendall Tapscott. She was a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was retired from service as the Cafeteria Manager at Brewer High School. She wrote one book of poetry and a children’s book in her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Arthur Morrow and a son, Teddy Morrow.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Allen Morrow, Eddie Morrow and John Paul Morrow, all of Hartselle; a brother, Allen Gaines Tapscott of Scottsboro; a sister, Billy Jean Moon of Madison; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Morrow, Jimmy Morrow, Patrick Morrow, Robin Cambell, Tim Ertz and Greg Colee.
