Brewer girls earn split during week

ONEONTA – The Brewer Lady Patriots suffered its first double-digit regular season loss in two years, after falling to Oneonta 54-40 on the road Thursday.

Riley Northway was the only bright spot for the Lady Patriots (10-2). She scored 20 points hitting on three of four 3-pointers. She was also held to just six rebounds and three assists.

Northway led the Lady Patriots with 25 points and 11 rebounds to earn an area win.

Savana Flack also added eight points and eight rebounds while Malerie Drinkard had seven points and nine rebounds. Brooke Childers added four points followed by Emily Oden with three and Cheyenne McLemore and Tamena Chatman with two points each.

McLemore also added 12 rebounds three assists and two steals.

Alize Perry led Columbia with eight points.
