Lady Tigers win big
Hartselle didn’t necessarily start strong against West Point, but they finished strong.
The Lady Tigers (3-7, 1-0) outscored West Point 20-1 in the second quarter to turn a seven-point, first quarter deficit into a 59-28 win in area play.
Madison Williams led the way with 13 points followed by Allie Roden and Riley Terry with nine points each.
Sarah Ellen Battles also added eight points while Riley Corum and Jada Hayes had five points each.
Katie Glasgow and Kylyne Osborne had four points apiece.
The Tigers will return to action on Friday at home against rival Cullman.
