Eva School wins Scholar’s Bowl

On Nov. 21, the Morgan County Schools Scholars’ Bowl Tournament was held at Cotaco Jr. High.

Schools participating included Cotaco, Danville, Eva, Falkville, Lacey’s Spring, Sparkman and Union Hill. In the end, Eva team A came back from an early defeat to win first place.

Sponsors are Paula Kiggins, hostess at Cotaco and TAG teacher at Cotaco and Lacey’s Spring, Julia James, TAG teacher at Eva and Union Hill, Monica Doherty, Tech Ed teacher at Danville, assisted by Melissa Parker, TAG teacher and Cristal Owens, TAG teacher at Falkville and Sparkman.
