The Hartselle Enquirer asked local students to write about “What Christmas Means to Me.” Here are their responses:

Eva Elementary, Mrs. Childers Third grade

…I get to spend a lot of time with my family. I get a lot of presents too. There was one year I went to Santa’s Village with my friend it was awesome. The next year we went to my grandparents house and we played in the snow.

…It means that Jesus was born and our King was born. He never siend he was great. He was perfect. And no body on this earth is like him.

…I get a lot of presents. Christmas is fun last year we went to my dads mom. I got 5 presents. After, we went to my nanas. There I got 10 more presents. Christmas is fun. Last year I asked for a ipod and got an Ipad2.

…Christmas is a time to give gifts to people like your friends, neighbors or your cousins. Christmas is a time to have fun out side playing in the snow with your friends, neighbors, cousins. It is also a time to celebret Jesus bithday.

…It means to be nice and enjoy the holidays. I love to buy christmas gifts for my family and we draw names who ever you get you buy presents for them. On chirstmas eve we spread some reindeer food on the grass for the reindeer. I love to give to my family they are so fun and nice to me. When they open their presents they look so happy and they go and play with their presents.
