Linda “Nana” Mason Lanier

Funeral for Linda “Nana” Mason Lanier, 67, of Hartselle will be Sat., Dec. 28, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Dec. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lanier died Wed., Dec. 25, 2013, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born September 16, 1946, in Morgan County to Oscar Euless Mason and Mary Etta Sherrill Mason. She was retired from Decatur General Hospital as a mammogram clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lanier; a brother, James Mason; and a sister, Mattie Pearl Martin.

She is survived by three sons, Kenny Chaney of Hartselle and Brandon Chaney (Christy) of Decatur; two brothers, Doug Mason (Wanda) of Hartselle and Malcom Mason (Tonya) of Hartselle; four sisters, Lonnie Boston (Forrest) of Decatur, Mary Haraway (Royce), Winston Salem of NC, Lue Eddie Borden (Homer) of Decatur and Arthenia Morgan of Decatur; six grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Chaney, Caleb Foster, Kade Chaney, Paul Tucker, Forrest Boston, Thomas Mason, Bo Marton and Eddie Dean Borden.
