Ronnie Stinson

Funeral for Ronnie Stinson, 59, of Hartselle will be Sat., Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Anderson and Ronnie Stinson, Jr. officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Stinson died Sun. Dec. 22, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 27, 1954, in Lorain County, Ohio, to William Rolan Stinson and Katherine Blazer Knappenberger Stinson. He was formerly employed by Watson Machine Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Stinson, Jr. (Tina) of Hartselle and Steven Stinson of Hartselle; a step-son, John Nave of Decatur; a daughter, Krystal Stinson, (Brent Tripp) of Hartselle; four brothers, John Knappenberger of Cullman, and Danny Stinson, Sandy Stinson and Lyndon Stinson, all of Minnesota; four sisters, Elaine Young, (Al) of Jacksonville St, Tarri Mason of Athens, Terry Stinson of Montana and Billi Stinson of Florida; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stinson, Bryson Stinson and Alida Stinson; and ex wife and best friend, Helen Martin.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
