Eldred “Pug” Lawrimore

Funeral for Eldred “Pug” Lawrimore, 79, of Falkville will be Sat., Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Truman Shaddrix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Eldred “Pug” Lawrimore died Wed., Dec. 25, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Lawrimore was born Sat., June 16, 1934, in Mt. Hope to Andrew Jean Lawrimore and Sarah Jane Bailey Lawrimore. He was a member of First Faith Church in Falkville. He retired from Dunlop. He enjoyed different aspects of farming. He was a collector of Antique Tractors and enjoyed showing and talking about them. He truly enjoyed spending time with his three sons at Lawrimore Trailers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Lawrimore of Falkville; three sons, Mike Lawrimore (Debbie) of Falkville, Brent Lawrimore (Anita) of Danville and Brian Lawrimore (Tanya) of Arley; a daughter, Sandy Lawrimore Robinson of Maitland, Fla.; a brother, Gene Lawrimore of Hartselle; a sister, Shirley Lawrimore of Madison; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Raymond Robinson, Jr., Luke Lawrimore, Drew Lawrimore, Will Lawrimore, Vance Lawrimore, Ryan Mouser and Lane Lawrimore.
