Danville used a big fourth quarter to defeat West Morgan 24-9 in the girls championship game of the Morgan County Junior High School Tournament Saturday night in their home gym.

The Lady Hawks were led by Jordan Hinkle with eight points, followed by Anna Stutts and Callie Ryan with six points each and Brianna Downs and Makayla Koins with two points each.

Bre Evans led West Morgan with four points while Bailey Parrish and Jadyn Owens scored two apiece.

The Lady Hawks’ suffocating defense held the Rebels to just one field goal for the game, which was tightly contested throughout.
