Business licenses due Friday

Hartselle City Clerk Rita Lee issued a reminder to local business that all business license renewals must be received by Friday in order to avoid penalties for being late.
“All renewals must be received by the close of business Friday at 4:30 p.m.,” Lee said. “Business license renewals can also be postmarked by Friday. If they are not received or postmarked by then, they will receive a 15 percent penalty and a one percent penalty per month.”
City offices are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
