Naaman L. ‘Les’ Hornbuckle

Funeral for Naaman L. “Les” Hornbuckle, 79, of Decatur was Fri., Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Burt Bonner officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hornbuckle died Tues., Jan. 7, 2014, at Decatur Health and Rehab. He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Morgan County to John Cleveland Hornbuckle and Sallie Lee Stiles Hornbuckle. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service and the Alabama State Employment Service with 21 years of service. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter Vicky Hornbuckle; five brothers, Millender, Joe, Morris, Melvin and Charles Hornbuckle; and a sister, Jane Wagner.
He is survived by his wife, Janice W. Hornbuckle of Decatur; two daughters, Tammy Kelso (Eddie) and Melissa Rawlins (David), both of Danville; a stepson, Cameron Prince (Suzanne) of Decatur; two brothers, J. C. Hornbuckle (Mary) of Albertville and George Hornbuckle (Kay) of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters, Vilot Gable of Cleburn, Texas, Mary Wishon of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Sue Bailey (Bobby) of Morgan City; six grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of Bethel Baptist Church.
