A Hanceville man was killed in single-vehicle crash two miles south of Danville Thursday night.

Jeremy Wayne Glenn, 39, was killed when a 2003 Kia, of which he was a passenger, left Pleasant View Road two miles south of Danville and overturned Thursday at 9:40 p.m.

A release from the Decatur State Trooper Post indicated that the victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Kia, Ronnie Lee Cornelius, 54, of Falkville was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

State Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
