Marie C. Holderfield

Funeral for Marie C. Holderfield, 95, of Union Grove will be Sat., Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Rob Jackson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be Sat., Feb. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. at the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Holderfield died Thurs., Feb. 13, 2014, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born Nov. 25, 1918, in Morgan County to Charlie Houston Cagle and Annie Lee Radford Cagle. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Decatur and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Holderfield, Jr.; and her parents.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Holderfield (Carolyn) of Huntsville; three daughters, Sheryl Pierce of Hatton, Diane Holderfield of Union Grove and Mary Spybey (Dick) of Union Grove; two brothers, Vernon Cagle of Texas and Don Cagle of Florida; four sisters, Elizabeth Baker of Phil Campbell, Margaret Martin of Moulton, Freida Jordan and Patricia Clements, both of Madison; four grandchildren, Shawna Pierce Brown, Lauren Tanner, Case Holderfield and Rick Spybey; four great-grandchildren, Mary Case Tanner, William Tanner, Caroline Tanner and Madeline Tanner.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
