Morgan County under T-storm warning, flash flood warning
Morgan County has been placed under a severe thunderstorm until 10 p.m. and a flash flood warning until 12:45 a.m. Friday.
At 9:50 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across eastern franklin, southeastern Lawrence and northwest Morgan counties.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen within the past hour and additional rainfall amounts up to two inches are possible through 1 a.m.
Decatur and Hartselle are in the warning area.
A tornado watch remains in effect for Morgan County until 3 a.m. Friday.
Counties in the watch area include Autauga, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, , Colbert, Coosa, Cullman, Dekalb, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Lowndes, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Montgomery, Morgan, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker and Winston.
