HANCEVILLE – Falkville made 14 of 19 free throws in the fourth quarter to defeat No. 1 Covenant Christian 52-43, advancing to the Lady Blue Devils first Final 48 appearance in school history. At Wallace State’s Tom Drake Coliseum Friday afternoon, the Lady Blue Devils were tied with the Lady Eagles 30-30 through three quarters. Makenzie Smith hit a free throw and Emily Mickelson scored a basket off a Patricia Kilgore assist to give Falkville a lead it would never relinquish. Autumn Eddy led the way with 13 points and seven rebounds, including a perfect 7-for-7 at the foul line. Regional MVP Bailey Anders added 12 points including a pair of 3-pointers. HANCEVILLE – Falkville made 14 of 19 free throws in the fourth quarter to defeat No. 1 Covenant Christian 52-43, advancing to the Lady Blue Devils first Final 48 appearance in school history.

At Wallace State’s Tom Drake Coliseum Friday afternoon, the Lady Blue Devils were tied with the Lady Eagles 30-30 through three quarters.

Makenzie Smith hit a free throw and Emily Mickelson scored a basket off a Patricia Kilgore assist to give Falkville a lead it would never relinquish.

Autumn Eddy led the way with 13 points and seven rebounds, including a perfect 7-for-7 at the foul line. Regional MVP Bailey Anders added 12 points including a pair of 3-pointers.
