Vincent, Watson coming to Hartselle
Country music artists Rhonda Vincent and Gene Watson will be performing March 14 at the Hartselle High School Auditorium.
Watson’s radio hits include classics like “Farewell Party,” “Fourteen Carat Mind” and “Love in the Hot Afternoon.” Vincent is the most awarded artist in bluegrass music with over 80 awards.
Vincent said she is excited about coming to Hartselle.
“I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about the new school and auditorium,” Vincent said. “We’re looking forward to coming to Hartselle.”
Vincent said she and Watson have played several shows together. They teamed up to create “Your Money and My Good Looks.”
“Gene is one of the best singers in the business,” Vincent said. “It’s a pleasure and honor to get to have a show with him.”
Vincent said she always enjoys coming back to Alabama.
“One of the members of my band is from Pell City,” she added. “It’s like a homecoming for him every time we come back to Alabama.”
