Funeral for Tammy Nanette Luker, 50, of Danville will be Wed. , Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wendell Callahan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery, Lawrence County.

Ms. Luker died Sun., Feb. 23, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 21, 1964, in Hartselle to Edward and Sandra Hogan Luker. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. She recently retired from Decatur City School System after many years of service. In her retirement, she enjoyed collecting owls and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was their “Number One Fan.” She loved spending time with her family and friends, but most of all she loved just being “Grammy” to her precious grandchildren.

She is survived by her parents, Edward and Sandra Luker of Danville; a daughter, Amanda Brooks (Chris) of Danville; two grandsons, Huntley Segars and Sawyer Brooks; a granddaughter, Lily Grace Segars; three stepgrandchildren; a sister, Dawn Terry (Byron) of Danville; and two nephews, Brit Bowling and Colby Bowling

Pallbearers will be Brit Bowling, Colby Bowling, Gary Luker and Jeff Luker.

Tim Singleton will serve as honorary pallbearer.
