Doris Jo Gullion

Funeral for Doris Jo Gullion, age 67, of Sevierville, Tenn., formerly of Hartselle will be Sun., March 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Carr officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sun., March 9, from noon to 1 p.m.

Mrs. Gullion died Feb. 28, 2014, in Knoxville, Tenn. She was a loving and courageous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Arlene Johnson Vandiver; a brother, Horace Don Ryan; and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Parker Abbott (Adam) of Sevierville, Tenn.; step-daughters, Amy Lacy (Alan), Cary Lacy (Jeremy), and Jennifer Murphy of Hartselle; a loving brother, Steve Vandiver of Sevierville, Tenn.; honorary brother and friend, Greg Mattson of Decatur; granddaughter, Kayla Cook Kenner (Patrick) of Sevierville, Tenn; grandson, Cody Cook and Jessica Johnson of Hartselle; six step-grandchildren; three great granddaughters; nieces and nephews, Robyn Hunkeapillar, Richard Ryan and Chris Ryan; aunt, Sheree Johnson; and numerous cousins.
