Funeral for Hester Parker, 84, of Somerville will be Thur., March 13, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be  in Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker died Tues., March 11, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Cullman County to William A. Johnson and Bessie Isabelle Mae Segars Johnson. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a son, Billy Douglas Parker and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Parker; a son, Frank Parker (Charlene); three daughters, Brenda Livingston (Eddie), Jo Belcher (Wayne) and Pam Stringer; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shane Livingston, Justin Ryan, Tyler Parker, Mike Ballenger, Anthony Ballenger and Cody Smith.
