Steven E. Jackson

Funeral for Steven E. Jackson, 66, was Wed., March 19, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Jackson died Sun., March 16, 2014, at his residence. He was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Morgan County to Ernest Jewell Jackson and Mary Christian Jackson. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was an educator, teaching science for 27 years. He loved people and loved his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Jackson; and a sister, Brenda Walden.

He is survived by a son, Joshua S. Jackson (Jesse) of Fayette; and two grandchildren, Will Jackson and Wade Jackson.

Pallbearers were Jon Clark, Micah Clark, Larry Self, Clyde Stevens, Larry Nace and Blake Holaway.
