Falkville sweeps Good Hope

Falkville’s Blue Devils swept a double header over from Good Hope, 3-2 and 2-1 on Saturday.

In the first contest, the Blue Devils had four hits while Good Hope had six. Alston Howard and Ryan Bradford each had a single and an RBI while Hunter Woodall and Dallas Mayer each singled.

Tanner Evans was the winning pitcher. He allowed two runs on six hits while striking out four batters and waking two.

In the second gamer, Falkville collected nine hits to one for Good Hope. Bradford led the way with a home run and single, an RBI and a run scored. Howard had a double and single, Dallas Mayer had am RBI single and Adam Keenum and Collin Eason each singled.

Howard was the winning Pitcher. She allowed one run on one hit while striking out six batters and walking five.

Falkville 15, Meek 2

Falkville’s Blue Devils exploded for 15 runs on 13 hits as they blasted Meek 15-2 in a home game on March 11.

Eight Falkville Players had hits. Adam Keenum went three for four at the plate and had an RBI and a run scored, Dallas Mayer had two hits with three RBIs and two runs scored, Alston Howard had two hits with an RBI and a run scored, Hunter Woodall had a hit with an RBI and scored three runs, Taylor Steele had a hit and an RBI, Colin Eason had a hit and scored a run, Ryan Bradford had a hit with an RBI and scored a run.

FHS 11, Meek 6

Falkville initiated a two-game sweep over Meek, 11-6, while playing on the Road on March 10.

Falkville collected 15 hits. Bradford led the way with a home run, a single, three RBIs and scored a run. Keenum had three singles with one RBI and three runs scored, Mayer had two hits and three RBIs, Hunter Woodall had three hits with an RBI and two runs scored, Evans had tow his with an RBI and one run scored, Steele and Howard each singled and had an RBI each and Hester had a single.

Bradford was the winning pitcher He allowed six runs on 12 hits while striking out 10 batters.

FHS 11, Good Hope 4

Eight players recorded hits as Falkville’s Blue Devils routed Good Hope, 11-4, on the road Thursday.

Ryan Bradford and Alston Howard each had a double and single, two RBIs and a run scored. Taylor Steele had two singles, three RBIs and scored a run, Hunter Woodall singled twice, scored two runs and had two stolen bases. Tanner Evans has a pair of singles, scored a run and had a RBI, Colin Eason singled twice and had an RBI and a run scored, Adam Keenum singled and scored twice and Bryant Hester singled and scored a run.

Dallas Mayer was the winning pitcher, He allowed four runs on eight hits while striking out three batters.
