Funeral for Dorothy Hill, 71, of Hartselle will be Fri., March 21, at noon at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe David Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery.Visitation will be Fri., March 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hill died Wed., March 19, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to Michael Saltis and Florence Moel Saltis. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hill, Sr., and her parents.

She is survived by four sons, Bob Brectal of Falkville, Chuck Brectal and Harold Hill, both of Hartselle and Rodney Hill of Falkville; a daughter, Cindy Appleton of Hartselle; two brothers, Mike Saltis of Minnesota and Jack Saltis of Texas; two sisters, Delores Doan of Illinois and Judy Western of California; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Mayer, Terry Mayer, Steve Foster, Mickey Chambers, Mike Colboch and Joe Manz.
