Estes, Byrd to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Estes of

Falkville are pleased to

announce the engagement

of their daughter, Lauren

Elizabeth Estes, to Caleb

Nathanial Byrd, son of

Chris and Jan Byrd of

Hartselle.

Estes

The bride-elect is the

granddaughter of Albert

Dean and Mary Estes of

Falkville, Bob and Wanda

Chaney of Vinemont, and

the late Jerry Reno of

Vinemont.

The bride-elect is a 2008

graduate of Falkville High

School and a 2012 graduate

of the University of

North Alabama where she

earned a bachelor of science

degree in communications.

Her declared

major was broadcast journalism.

She is currently

employed at The Cullman

Times newspaper as a

news reporter.

The prospective groom is

the grandson of Olen and

Nora Byrd of Moulton,

Silas Roden of

Greenbriar, Ark. and the

late Sue Roden of

Hartselle.

Mr. Byrd is a 2007 graduate

of Hartselle High

School. He is a 2011 graduate

of Auburn University

where he earned a bachelor

of arts degree in political

science. He is a juris

doctor candidate at

Liberty School of Law for

the Class of 2015.

The wedding is planned

for 2 p.m. Sat., Aug. 9,

2014, in Falkville at

Fairview-The Grace Place

Church.
