Community-wide Easter egg hunt set for Sat., April 19
A community-wide Easter egg hunt will be Sat., April 19, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church Falkville. Ages are 3 years old through sixth grade.
Libby’s Restaurant at Priceville was the setting for the lunch and brunch group last Tuesday. Among those attending were Wilma Depreast, Ray and Betty Sanders, Kathy Gray, Howard and Helen Gibson and Melba Nelson.
Also attending were Kenneth and Peggy McCellan, J. L. and Ann Sanders, Jo and Ennis and Ralph and Mary Alice Nelson.
Belated birthday wishes are extended to Melinda Haynes. Her special day was March 30. Best wishes are sent from her mother, Jenny Asherbranner.
A community Easter Sunrise Service will be held Sun., April 20, at 7 a.m. at Victory Fellowship Church, located on East Pike Road, Falkville. The Rev. David Carroll is the pastor.
