Lady Bulldogs lose three at Myrtle Beach

Priceville’s Lady Bulldogs managed to score only two runs in the first three games they plated at the Myrtle Beach, S.C. Invitational Softball Tournament April 15-17.

The Lady Bulldogs fell to Wesleyan Christian 10-0 April 15.

Abby St. John belted a double and added a single and Mia Grantland singled for Priceville’s only hits.

Madison Beddingfield was the losing pitcher She gave up nine runs on three hits while walking three batters. Kylie Miller pitched one inning in relief, allowing one run on one hit while striking out two and walking two.

Priceville fell to Elmira 15-1 April 16.

The Lady Bulldogs had four hits. Sara Beth Wilson had a pair of singles and knocked in her team’s only run. Maggie Yambrek and Mia Grantland each had a single.

Abby St. John was tagged with the loss. She pitched two innings, allowing 10 runs on two hits while striking out seven batters and giving up five walks. Miller relieved for two innings. She allowed five runs on two hits while striking out two batters and walking two.

The Lady Bulldogs lost 13-1 to another team on Thursday.

Sarah Beth Wilson had an RBI single and Alexandria Shields, Abby St. John, Anna Catherine Law and Maggie Yambrek each singled.

Beddingfield was the losing pitcher. She allowed 10 runs on seven hits and walked one batter. Miller pitched one inning in relief. She allowed three runs while striking out one and walking five.
