New Center Baptist Church is sponsoring a Children’s Fishing Rodeo on May 3 from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Walker Pond, 56 Church Road, Hartselle.  This event is for children ages 2-15; however, an adult sponsor is required for each child.  There will be three class brackets with prizes for first and second place in each bracket.  You can pre-register by calling 256-778-1028 or by emailing ncbcevents@gmail.   com.  The cost for this event is a donation of any amount to the NCB Guatemala Mission Trip.  Professional fisherman Lavoyd Lemmond and Decatur Heritage Fishing Team will be at the event.  Bring your lawn chairs and fishing pole if you have one.  Bait will be provided and we will also have a few extra poles if you need one.  A hotdog lunch will be provided for all participants.  Join us for a morning of fishing, food, fun and fellowship as we raise money to build a home for a needy family in Guatemala.

The 115th annual Hartselle Camp Meeting will be conducted at the city’s historic tabernacle grounds June 22-27.
