Funeral for James “Jim” T. Campbell, 91, of Eva will be Fri., May 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Stone and Chaplain Rich Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., May 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Campbell died Tues., May 13, 2014, at USA Decatur Health & Rehab Center. He was born August 11, 1922, in Morgan County to Frank Campbell and Cordie Sanders Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a millwright formerly employed by Caterpillar.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Campbell of Eva; a son, Tony Durham of Decatur, Ill.; a daughter, Lori Campbell, Decatur, Ill.; a brother, Eugene Campbell (Dean) of Eva; a host of step-children and their spouses; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley or to your favorite charity.
