District Attorney Scott Anderson’s Worthless Check and Restitution Recovery Units, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the Decatur Police Department served more than 50 warrants and arrested more than 20 individuals in a roundup Thursday night.
Anderson and Sheriff Ana Franklin said that the operation is projected to recover over $50,000 for victims of crime and the court system.
Arrests were expected to continue throughout the day Friday.
Individuals with outstanding warrants in the Morgan County Worthless Check Unit or the Morgan County Restitution Recovery Unit were encouraged to turn themselves in at the District Attorney’s Office during normal business hours.
