Ralph Wayne Campbell

Funeral for Ralph Wayne Campbell, 81, of Valhermoso Springs, will be Sat., May 31, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Summers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will follow in the Huntsville Memory Gardens Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be Fri., May 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Campbell died May 28, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Butler County on August 28, 1932, to William Perry Campbell and Dora Alice Graham Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a Valhermosa Springs, native for 43 years. Mr. Campbell served honorably in the United States Air Force, retiring with 21 years of Military Service. Notably, he served at the Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine during the Apollo Space Program. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by a son, Dwight W. Campbell (Kim) of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Kenneth W. Campbell of Sartell, Minn., Amy M. Peters of Maumelle, Ark., and Timothy S. Peters of Prestonsburg, Ky; four great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; countless friends; and two dear friends, Jimmy & Dianna Cook of Huntsville.
